so… I’ve put a Riverdi LCD on my Nextion 4.3 Basic in search for better daylight visibility (or at least some, as the standard screen is nowhere near readable). Plug&Play operation, but the effect is not as “WOW” as I expected…

Does anyone know the data for the Nextion backlight power?

My screen needs 16V

just checked … backlight is fueld at 14.25 V … just shy of the 15 minimal of the riverdi screen minimal requirement

I’m wondering… is it worth the effort to separately feed the backlight or is the 14.25 V almost the same as 16 V as nominal fot the TFT backlight?

I thought they were driven at 21 volts. I will check my 4.3 again.

Just checked, 21 volts exactly at the two solder points under the tape on the flex.
